Zoe Ferraris

Zoë Ferraris' debut novel, Finding Nouf, (published as Night of the Mi'raj in the UK) and two follow-up novels, City of Veils and Kingdom of Strangers have been international bestsellers and have been published in over 45 countries. The books were inspired by her life in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Zoë lived in a conservative Muslim community with her husband and his family, a group of Saudi-Palestinians.

Her new children's series, Galaxy Pirates: The Hunt for the Pyxis, is a mid-grade book for boys and girls ages 9 and up. Inspired by her passion for the stars and big ships, this adventure takes readers to a version of outer space they've never seen before. For more information, click here.

In 2006, she completed her MFA in Fiction at Columbia University. She currently lives in San Francisco.
